Some days don't get any better than sitting in the garden on a warm summer's day with a cool drink in hand, watching the butterflies dance in the blue sky.
It just makes you want to smile at the world, so I have made the earth (represented by map spots) smile in this painting.

Description:
Painted on a piece of handmade mulberry paper which has been sprayed with ink. A combination of acrylic paints, inks and pastels have been used to create the painting. Map spots were added at the bottom of the painting to represent the earth and music spots have been added amongst the flowers.. Once finished, I hand stitched sequins in amongst the flowers to give them a little sparkle.
The painting has a pretty frayed edge and is mounted on mount board. I have handwritten the title on the board underneath the painted paper. The painting is signed by me and comes protected in a clear cellophane bag ready for framing.
